Randers Art Museum specializes in Danish art, with a permanent collection showing a broad range of the best in Danish painting from the end of the showing a broad range of the best in Danish painting from the end of the 1700s up to modern day, featuring works of art such as L>A> Ring’s “Sommerdag, Roskilde Fjord” (a summer’s day by Roskilde Fjord) from 1900. Local artist Sven Dalsgaard is richly represented with varying exhibits drawn from the largest specialist collection of this all-round artist’s work. The museum is als famous for the fantastic glass installation KOMISK RUM by Trondur Patursson – the giddy abyss open under the entering guest’s feet.
